1.0 adds the playable Tetramon TCG, the Ascension pack with 1,452 cards, deck editing at the Workbench, tournament play and 5 Steam achievements. Saves from build 0.70 carry over untouched, so nobody restarts.
What 1.0 is
TCG Card Shop Simulator left Early Access in September 2026, with the Steam store page listing a Sep 14, 2026 release date. The developer post that carries the changelist is written as a milestone summary, so it mixes two things: the totals for the whole Early Access to 1.0 run, and the line items that actually shipped in the 1.0 patch. Telling them apart stops you budgeting for 34 new products on day one.
The headline totals, and what they cover
The developer prints these under “Completed roadmap from Early Access to 1.0”, so read them as a span total rather than the size of one patch.
| Category | Early Access start | At 1.0 | Movement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Items to unlock and sell | 77 | 111 | plus 34 |
| Furniture types | 21 | 43 | plus 22 |
| Collectible cards | 2714 | 4436 | span total |
| New cards from the Ascension pack | 0 | 1,452 | added in 1.0 |
| Community art posters | 0 | 55 | added in 1.0 |
| Decoration options | not stated | printed in the announcement | span total |
| Steam achievements | 40 | 45 | plus 5 in 1.0 |
The first three rows and the decoration line are quoted from the 1.0 announcement. The achievement count of 45 is what the community achievement list stands at, so the 5 new ones the changelist mentions take 40 to 45. The Movement column is our subtraction on the two columns to its left, not a figure any source prints, and where the two ends of a row are not both published the cell says span total instead. The decoration count sits in the saved copy of that announcement jammed against the end of the card line, with no separator between them, so we are not restating a number we cannot point at byte for byte. The 55 posters on the row above it are clean.
What the 1.0 changelist actually delivers
These are the additions and changes the changelist attributes to the patch itself:
- Playable Tetramon TCG. A match runs 3 to 5 minutes and starts against any lone customer waiting at a play table by pressing right mouse or the gamepad right face button, with the shop continuing to operate around you.
- An in-game rulebook at the Workbench, plus deck creation and deck editing at the same station. Decks are 50 cards, and deckbox and playmat choices come from licenses you have unlocked. You can copy a decklist out to share it.
- Ascension card packs, 1,452 new cards, fully illustrated art.
- You can now join the tournaments you host and keep the prizes based on your placement.
- Customers hand over gift packs when you play the TCG at a table, and build 1.02 raised the odds of that gift being an Ascension pack after a duel win.
- 5 new Steam achievements, 55 community art posters as in-game items.
- Model and texture optimization, reduced overall memory usage, a new BGM for TCG battles, adjusted deco material colors, updated Tetramon stat icons and “Play Effect” text, and refreshed localization strings.
The bug fixes worth knowing about on an old save: tournament customer save data that produced a naked customer, tournament customers going missing on load, worker skill level being lost if a worker was fired and the game saved, held items clipping into the camera, non-seamless wall and ceiling textures, and a customer stuck inside a not yet unlocked lot B.
What this means for a 0.70 save
Carry over is confirmed and total: no restart, no migration step. Four consequences deserve attention.
Your Workbench access is different. The 1.0 post states the Workbench unlocks at shop level 7, which is what gates the rulebook and the playable TCG. The pre-1.0 wiki furniture table lists the Workbench at level 10 for $1,000. Either the gate moved down at some point in Early Access or that table went stale, and the official post is the one to trust: if your save is past level 7 you already own it.
Card stats are not what your bookmarked pages say. The changelist includes “Adjusted Tetramon card stats” and updated “Play Effect” text, while the wiki and Fandom records behind most numbers circulating online were last edited between November 2024 and September 2025. Stat lines from those pages, including the ones in this ledger, need a live confirmation before being trusted in a duel.
Market prices are per save, not per patch. Item costs and card values were generated when your save was created, and no source says 1.0 re-rolled them. How the new Ascension lines get priced inside an older save is undocumented too, so check the TCG Price app rather than assuming parity with a fresh game.
Cosmetic changes land on the existing save too, since deco wall, floor and ceiling material colors were adjusted.
What did not make 1.0
The FAQ states that the playable TCG took longer than planned, that the remaining roadmap items arrive in future updates, and that 1.0 is not the final update. Cross-save is out, console and Steam do not share saves. Multiplayer is out, there are no plans for it in the near future, so every opponent and every duelist is an NPC.
The two follow-up builds
Build 1.01 added right mouse to skip the graded card opening sequence, made you hold all graded cards at the end of an opening, fixed the gamepad selection UI lingering after a match, fixed a tournament match being unjoinable before it started, and turned tooltips on by default.
Build 1.02 raised the chance of receiving an Ascension pack as a duel gift even at lower shop levels, fixed the duel win count behind the TCG Arcade achievement, and applied a possible fix to tournaments failing to progress.
Where the roadmap items really came from
Assuming every roadmap line means 1.0 spends your money for you is expensive. The community version history dates most of them years earlier.
| Roadmap line | Build that delivered it | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Workbench | Logged at the Early Access launch row, according to the community version history | 2024-09-15 |
| Customer review app | 0.45 | 2024-10-07 |
| Customers trade cards | 0.50 | 2024-11-21 |
| Shop decoration | 0.52 | 2025-03-24 |
| Grading card | 0.60 | 2025-08-23 |
| Scanner order | 0.62 | 2025-10-21 |
| Playable TCG, Ascension, join your own tournament | 1.0 | September 2026 |
Those build dates come from the community version history page and match the feature names the developer lists as complete. The Workbench row is the odd one out and is worth reading carefully: “Workbench” appears nowhere in the developer’s completed-roadmap list, so it is not a roadmap item 1.0 closed. It is a furniture entry the version history first records against the Early Access debut row, dated 2024-09-15, the same day the developer’s own 1.0 post says the shop sim went live. What 1.0 actually added at the Workbench is the rulebook view and deck editing.
Related ledgers
1.0 also changes how you price event seats, covered in cards not selling. Deck building draws on the card database, co-op expectations are settled in the multiplayer guide, and grading economics moved with 1.01 and 1.02 in the card grading guide.
